So apparently, konoha_rebirth is in need of a Temari. This RP is, by far, the best RP I've ever played in. AU future!canon, this RP chronicles the adventures of Konoha, Suna, and Oto after Oto comes in and stomps on Konoha---led, of course, by Sasuke himself. Naruto is the Rokudaime, Sasuke is the Otokage, there is some strange religious group and the Akatsuki and plot and romance and shiny. I play Kankurou, Chouji, and Konohamaru. ALSO. RP KIDS WHO WERE IN THE CHAT LAST NIGHT, LISTEN UP. Mich, Keryn and Jamie and Li and I were being amazingly brilliant last night and came up with a name for the new RP: Shade Without Color, (without_color) an allusion to the poem "The Hollow Men" by T.S. Eliot. If you haven't read it, omg do it right now. I already put together Kankurou's journal, swear_i_tripped, because he more tripped from grace than fell from it XDDD. I'll be working on the gist blurb tonight after I get another 300 pages couple of chapters of Middlemarch finished. Do you want me to get the applications running, too? I could possibly get that whole process kicked off if someone else would be so kind as to volunteer for these other things. We need:

Ideas on places in the city that could be highly-frequented hotspots (and totally thought up during my morning class D:):

The Galaxy Theater---Kankurou works the night shift here. Modeled after this theater, which was built in the early 1900's and turned into a movie theater. Gorgeous, gorgeous place, though it's falling to pieces.
Valley Apartment Complex---Obligatory shitty apartment building. Many of the characters could live here, methinks. We might even do roommate assignments if enough people want to plant their kids there.
Extreme Bean---Equally obligatory coffee shop.
Survivors of Unplanned yet Crippling Knitting Accidents Anonymous (aka SUCKAA)---a support group front where all the fallen can come and bitch.

So, I had this silly idea of updating regularly. Then I realized how much energy that would take, and I opted instead to whip out the ol' PSX emulator and play me some Silent Hill.

difjdfldk. Cybil Bennett---especially Cybil Bennett from the movie version of Silent Hill---makes my inner femme prance around merrily, tossing flower petals to the rose-scented wind. I'm going to not translate this mood into meaning I should write more yuri---instead, I'll get back on track with kowai_banashi, which shriveled up in its own little corner when school started sucking hardcore. I made sesshiyuki my co-mod ♥.

So. Started re-reading SR. Some of that fic is crap; some of it is good. If I could just get over the former, I'd possibly think about continuing it. Then again, my yaoi muse has all but died. In other news, I want recs for some good InoSaku yuri NOW PLZ. YURI MUSE IS EATING MY BRAINS D:

Bad news: Lots of work. Very little inspiration for writing.

A quickie fic for dianoetic. UH. SO. I started a RP. Original characters. Lotsa death and ghosts an' shit. Big scary noises. Zombies.



THE PREMISE

On the night of the annual school Halloween party, a handful of people go missing. Teachers, students, parent chaperones---all are fair game in this surprising swoop. When they wake up, they find themselves transplanted to an old school cafeteria, thick with age, dust, and mouse droppings. There's an old-school projector playing the original Dawn of the Dead on a projector screen as they wake, whirring slowly as the black and white images fizz and pop, casting long shadows against their bewildered faces as they look down and realize they’ve been given the first of three gifts.

Each character has been cast the main role of a traditional Japanese ghost story, and they have to solve what their ghost story is before a) the negative aspects of the ghost story come and kill your character in the manner depicted in their story, b), if you're the negative aspect of a ghost story that connects to another character's, your personality starts to change and you start wanting to kill the 'good' aspect of the story, or c) you get caught in the crossfire between characters and die a grisly death.

You only have three main clues: a dream you have before you wake up, your weapon/item of power, and a chance meeting with a character that knows bits of pieces of your story. Naturally, the more rational characters will rely on the weapon and the chance meeting while the more free-thought characters will rely on the dreams.

Good or evil, black, white, or gray, your main objective is to make it out of the school alive. To do this, you have to piece together your ghost story before your story kills you.

It’s one am as I write this, and I’m not tired. I was tired, but then mom gave me one of those guilt-trip/talking-tos that parents just seem great at, and the resulting worry-stomachache is keeping me up (do other people get those, or is it just me? Seriously. It’s just…argh, it makes me mad. I want to sleep, but I can’t because I feel like I swallowed around eight pounds of solid lead).

So what am I doing instead? I’m halfway working on my minority literature essay (ahaha, yeah, the one that was due last Friday), and halfway working on the latest Blame Carl fic (see also: The Mystery of Shino’s Bugs: Solved, Nurse Itachi, the effects of Bad Lighting, etc., etc.---drunken Ino ‘taking advantage’ of Chouji. So yes. One document is all about Native American minorities (mostly about Sherman Alexie ♥), and the other document is all about graphic ChouShikaIno sex (mostly about Ino riding away like the silly little drunk she is ♥).

I think there’s a direct correlation to my stress level and the amount of smut I write. If I didn’t hate mathematics quite so much, I’d check this theory.

Oh, and I’ve been scribbling a lot this weekend trying to draw things…not crap to work up to some of my commissions. I don’t think I succeeded.
